An Easter tag

Good afternoon. Here is an Easter tag I made for a group I’m in on Facebook. I made six tags, sent five and kept this one for myself.

I used an old calendar with flowers to create my tag piece and backed it with a scrap of card stock. The tag is 6″x3.5″ – I believe that is a #8 tag.

I then looked through my stash and found some cute vintage Easter images. I am not sure who made it as it was a scrap I had. Once I had the image I started to put together the tag.

I placed a doily in the shape of an egg in the center of the tag. These were from the dollar store as were the pastel styrofoam eggs I used.

then I cut three eggs in half; this was quite easy as the eggs are pretty soft. I placed three halves down towards the bottom, glued them with tacky glue and then added a small bow.

Next I glued the image above the eggs, placed a┬ápunched butterfly – I used the Martha Stewart punch as I love the details. Finally I added some flowers from my stash at the top. Mine had pearl centers which I thought were perfect but sparkling jewel centers would have worked just as well.

I I hope you like this tag. Please comment below and subscribe to my blog. There are great things to come.
